Long-running New York pop outfit Interpol recently released their solid El Pintor LP. With that out of the way, guitarist Daniel Kessler has unveiled a new side-project.

Called Big Noble, the group sees Kessler working alongside sound designer Joseph Fraioli.

The duo are expected to release their debut album early next year. In the meantime, they've got a sound installation up at New York's Sonos Studio. It's called "Sounds of NYC," and two brief videos about the project are available to stream below.

In addition, the group's music has soundtracked a new ad for the fashion company Rag & Bone. There's also music streaming in the background of their official site.

Stay tuned for more information on Big Noble as it becomes available. Thanks to Pitchfork for the tip.
