Interpol's Daniel Kessler Announces Debut Album with Big Noble Side-Project

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 10, 2014

Interpol guitarist Daniel Kessler isn't wasting any time in getting his Big Noble side-project off the ground. A month ago, he announced this new collaboration with sound designer Joseph Fraioli, and now the pair have confirmed plans for their debut album. First Light is due out on February 3 through Affiliates Sound/Kobalt Label Services.

The album will only be available digitally. That's the cover artwork above and the 10-song tracklist below. Scroll past the tracklist to watch a video for album cut "Peg"; the song is an echoing instrumental guitar sketch, while the video consists of misty natural imagery.

Big Noble previously launched with a sound installation at New York's Sonos Studio, which was billed as "an interactive conceptual map of New York."
