Late last year, Odd Future DJ Syd tha Kyd debuted her offshoot the Internet with an LP called Purple Naked Ladies, dropping a few more online offerings along the way. She and project collaborator Matt Martian have now returned with a complementary freebie EP appropriately titled PNL Bonus EP.
The four-song session further explores the experimental soul bent of past work, with slow-jam snare clacks, breathy vocal harmonies and erotically airy vibraphone hits colluding on "Partners in Crime," while another highlight on the mini-effort is the clicky military beats and jazz flute freak-out on the funky closing creeper "Of It."
