Last year, cultishly revered hip-hop duo Insane Clown Posse brought their music and message north with a rare Canadian tour. Apparently, the trek was a major success because they're now launching a Canadian version of their notorious festival the Gathering.

The Canadian event is called Canadian Juggalo Weekend, and it's scheduled to take place at Calgary's Stampede Corral on April 7 and 8.

In a joint statement released to Exclaim!, the Insane Clown Posse said, "Canadian Juggalos are some of the freshest fam on the planet and we are psyched as fuck to bring Juggalo Weekend to Calgary! We have been wanting to do this for years and what better time to do it than in the Year of the Juggalo... 2017?! Whoop whoop! See you soon, fam!"

The event will be much more than a mere set of shows. According to a press release, it "will feature performances by numerous well-known musical groups and underground artists as well as wrestling, games, contests, autograph sessions, face painting booths, vendors, and circus performances."

While the lineup has not yet been revealed, Insane Clown Posse will headline both nights. On the first night, the group will perform their album RiddleBox in full. On the second night, it'll be a set of hits and classics.
