Published May 21, 2013Ontario folk-pop newcomers Inlet Sound made their full-length debut last year with The Romantics, and now the tune "Young Hearts" has got a music video as the band prepare the hit the road this summer.
The clip for this triumphant folk number begins in black and white, and we see a sky full of airplanes before the visuals explode into full-colour during an aquatic concert.
The clip was directed by Christopher Mills. The band said in a statement,
From the moment we found out that we'd be shooting a video with Chris Mills, we were all as giddy as a bunch of five-year-olds in line for the ice cream truck. We loved his work on videos for Modest Mouse, the Acorn and the Joy Formidable among others for quite some time. The best part of this whole process was how easy-going Chris made the shoot day feel, despite numerous freezing locations and time crunches. We were also super blessed to have our dear friend Brendan Lynch work his organizational magic on the production side of the video. We worked into the wee hours of the night, shooting on green screen and stuffing our faces with delicious sandwiches, only to go home full bellied and excited to see Chris' animated wizardry unfold. Et voila!
