BY Sarah MurphyPublished Dec 11, 2018

Imogen Heap will return to North America to play shows for the first time in nine years. She's announced a 2019 world tour dubbed the "Mycelia World Tour."

The 40-date tour includes nine stops in the United States and Canada, and it will also feature performances by Guy Sigsworth, Heap's Frou Frou collaborator. It will mark the first shows that the Frou Frou members have played together since 2003.

The North American leg kicks off on April 28 in Miami, and following a few more U.S. stops, Heap will play a single Canadian show in Toronto on May 17. From there, she'll continue on to Boston, Austin, Seattle and San Francisco.

The "Mycelia World Tour" arrives in conjunction with the launch of Mycelia's "Creative Passport," which promotes a "sustainable and vibrant music industry ecosystem" for artists. Mycelia is a non-profit organization founded by Heap.
