ILOVEMAKONNEN Overhauls His Self-Titled EP for Release on OVO Sound

BY Alex HudsonPublished Dec 11, 2014

Atlanta's ILOVEMAKONNEN has struck up a collaborative friendship with Drake as of late, teaming up on various tracks and signing with the Toronto superstar's OVO Sound. This has led the singer, producer and rapper born Makonnen Sheran to announce an overhauled reissue of his self-titled EP for his new label home. It will be out on Monday (December 15).

It's slightly strange that this is being billed as a reissue of the prior EP, since the tracklist has been so drastically overhauled that it's more or less an entirely new project. As far as we can tell, the only song from the original EP to be preserved in its original form is "I Don't Sell Molly No More." The hit "Tuesday" is back, although this time it's the new mix with Drake.

There's also "Look at Wrist," which was originally released by Atlanta rapper Father and featured ILOVEMAKONNEN as a guest. See the new tracklist below, and scroll past that to hear a few of the EP cuts.

"Tuesday" is up for a Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
