Best known for his work with Minutemen, D.I.Y. champion and beloved bassist Mike Watt has spent time with everyone from the Stooges to Kelly Clarkson, not to mention his solo career and work with fIREHOSE. Watt's latest endeavour is a return to Il Sogno Del Marinaio, a trio he formed in 2009. Ahead of their next album, they've just shared a video for the song "Il Sogno Del Fienile."
The song has been treated to an animated video courtesy of Mike Muscarella. Offering animated edits on still photographs, it's an excellent companion piece to the song, itself a slab of shifting, rhythmic post-punk.
