Published Mar 21, 2012When I Mother Earth announced that they were reuniting for this week's Canadian Music Fest in Toronto, the long-gone '90s rock band revealed that they had a couple of new songs in the can and said that they would be releasing them soon. As promised, here's the new tune "We Got the Love."
In a note on their official blog, guitarist Jagori Tanna said this of the heavy alt-rock track: "Releasing this song to you guys is an absolute honour and I cant really explain what it means to us for you to finally hear it, especially at this point in our lives. We really never thought any of this would ever happen again. This song doesn't represent us 'getting back in the game' by any means and whatever happens with it, or whoever plays or doesn't play it, is of no consequence. It's a simple thank you to our fans for sticking with us throughout our whole career as well as our absence."
He added, "Learn the damn words for the gigs! lol!"
You heard the man. Listen below. I Mother Earth will play at the Sound Academy in Toronto on March 22 and 23.
