Hurricane Ripped My Jacket 'Palace of Cold'

Hurricane Ripped My Jacket 'Palace of Cold'
Chris Van Der Laan has released heaps of music through his Boat Dreams from the Hill label, including pop-punk as Wars, art-rock as Heavy Steps, rap as Too High Crew, hardcore as Miss Black America, and more. Now, the label has unveiled the drone album Palace of Cold from a project called Hurricane Ripped My Jacket.

There's little information available about Hurricane Ripped My Jacket, but Palace of Cold consists of two tracks, each of which is around 22 and a half minutes long. A description notes that the songs are constructed using "bass, keys, guitar, field recording, and tape noise," and they both consist of sprawling, Metal Machine Music-like fuzz.
