Out of nowhere, cult indie unit Hum have surprise-released their first album in over two decades. It's called Inlet, and you can stream it now.
While Hum have engaged in some reunion activities in recent years, this marks the first proper new album from the shoegaze-leaning Illinois outfit since their beloved 1997 album Downward Is Heavenward.
Inlet is out on Bandcamp now, but it's also getting treated to a proper physical release via Polyvinyl. On August 31, the album will arrive on CD and a 2-LP vinyl release.
