Multifaceted Montreal artist Peggy Hogan makes hip-hop music under the moniker Hua Li 化力 and she recently won over Pop Montreal with her live show. Now, she's delivering that "high-energy charm" into a new music video — and Exclaim! has got your first look at the new clip.
"Luxury" comes from Li's recently released EP Za Zhong, and the clip arrives courtesy of director Tyler Reekie. It's a throwback to old-school hip-hop and even older cars — with "modern day twists of kink and queerness" sprinkled on top.
She struts around a parking lot of souped up vintage cars in the clips, spitting bars about her appreciation for the finer things in life. Watch the ode to luxurious lifestyles in the player below.
