Toronto sludge punks HSY have been riding a steady wave of hype since releasing their monstrous "Tartar Mouth" single. Now, they're gearing up to release their debut self-titled EP via Buzz Records.
As hinted at on their first single, the five-song EP offers up creeping, noisy post-punk complete with head-pounding drums, fuzzed-out bass and eerie guitar work. Factor in the manic vocals, which range from monotonous snarling to throat-shredding screams, and you've got a nice lil listen in front of you.
