Josh Korody had an impressive year, delivering Beliefs' latest LP Leaper and manning the boards behind music from artists like Dilly Dally, the Dirty Nil and HSY. Now, he's unveiled a fresh reworking of HSY's "Feeder."

The track originally appeared on HSY's 2015 record Bask and has been remixed by Korody under his Nailbiter moniker. It's a throbbing cut of dark industrial sound that adds some extra sonic intrigue to an already heavy-hitting track.

"HSY is one of my favourite Toronto bands," Korody tells Exclaim! "Wanting to start doing remixes for people with Nailbiter, it felt like a good match for our mutual love of industrial, synthetic and raw sounds. And on top of it, I also engineered Bask last year, so I was really excited for it to finally come out, and 'Feeder' was the song I instantly wanted to do for its unique vocal. I got goosebumps from the minute I heard Anna [Mayberry]'s vocal takes when we were recording it last year. It was late, dark and just the right vibe."

HSY will be having a record release party at 8-11 in Toronto on December 20 to celebrate the arrival of Bask on vinyl. Full details for the show can be found here.
