How to Destroy Angels Set Release Date for Debut EP; Trent Reznor Shares New Track "Theme for Tetsuo: The Bullet Man"
When we first explained that former Nine Inch Nails front-man Trent Reznor was indeed the man behind How to Destroy Angels, we announced that the new band had a debut EP planned for this summer. And if that left you wondering exactly when said EP would drop, we now have a solid release date.

Following the recent release of the first and last remix-able tracks from the EP, the Some Kind of Awesome blog has pointed out that the self-titled effort is currently available for pre-order from Amazon, which lists a July 6 release date.

In related news, Trent Reznor recently revealed that a track he was working on for director Shinya Tsukamoto's Tetsuo: The Bullet Man is finished. The song, which was commissioned in January 2009, did not come by October, when the film was completed, so Tsukamoto and co. gave up on it, assuming Reznor has forgotten or lost interest. But the track showed up this past February, and will play over the end credits for the film, which recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in late April.

The track, seemingly dubbed "Theme for Tetsuo: The Bullet Man," can be streamed and downloaded at Some Kind of Awesome here.
