Houston News Radio Station Switches to Non-Stop Beyoncé Format
It's a sad day for journalism, but a great one for Houston residents that are crazy in love with Queen Bey.

The Texan city's last all-news format radio station News92 has ceased operations and gone off the air, citing poor ratings and financial losses. In its place? All Beyoncé, all the time.

The singer's music is being broadcast 24-7 on the newly renamed B92 station in her hometown of Houston.

In all likelihood, this is just another example of "stunting" — where stations will play novelty music as a placeholder for new programming that is still in development. Toronto's Indie88 recently caught their audience's attention when they Rickrolled the city with "Never Gonna Give You Up" for a full week before their official launch last summer.

Though the official direction for News92's future has yet to be confirmed, you can head over here to bask in Bey's glory for the time being.

To end on a sad note, all 47 employees were also laid off at the station.
