UK bipsters Hot Chip are having a damn good 2010. Their fourth studio LP, One Life Stand, was received warmly by critics and they've spent most of the year touring the hell out of it. In September, the band will strike while the iron is hot by releasing a four-song EP made up of Hot Chip redoes done by the electronic outfit's contemporaries.
Dubbed We Have Remixes, the EP will drop September 7 via Astralwerks and contain remixes by the likes of Caribou, Todd Edwards, Osborne and Hot City. However, a listing on Amazon.ca promises the vinyl EP (twelve-inch, we imagine) for September 14, with pre-orders available now, so keep an eye out for any changes.
Hot Chip will close out 2010 with a series of festival appearances and a small U.S./UK tour with LCD Soundsystem. All the band's dates are below, after the We Have Remixes tracklist.
