Hot Chip and Florence + the Machine are both English acts with new albums to promote, and now they've come together on a new remix, as Hot Chip have taken on Florence's track "Queen of Peace."
This remix preserves singer Florence Welch's dramatic belting, keeping her melodies and lyrics up front and centre. The instrumental backdrop is entirely different, however, as Hot Chip anchor the song with an urgent, beat-driven electro thump that's geared towards the dance floor. It's a good fit, proving that Welch could have a successful career as a dance singer if she were so inclined.
