The Hood Internet Recruit A.C. Newman, Cadence Weapon, Class Actress for 'FEAT'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 13, 2012

The Hood Internet are best known for their sample-heavy mash-ups, but the Chicago duo will be going the all-original route for their new album, FEAT, which will arrive on September 18 via Decon Records.

As the title suggests, FEAT replaces samples with cameos, and the ten-track collection includes multiple guests on every song. Among the most noteworthy contributors are A.C. Newman (of New Pornographers fame), Cadence Weapon, Class Actress, Zambri, the Rosebuds, Chain Gang of 1974, Astronautalis, Millionyoung and Psalm One. Check out the full tracklist below, and scroll past that to see a short trailer for FEAT.

To spread the word about the upcoming album, the Hood Internet will hit the road in the U.S. this summer. The outing doesn't include any Canadian dates, but you can see the schedule over at Facebook.

Thanks to Pitchfork for the tip.
