Homme/Grohl/Jones Supergroup Them Crooked Vultures Reportedly Name Debut Album, Set It for October Release

Just a day after we discovered the new supergroup helmed by Queen of the Stone Age Josh Homme, Foo Fighter Dave Grohl and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones is taking on the moniker Them Crooked Vultures, we now have what appears to be release date and album title for the band's debut album.

Thanks to a promotional poster dug up by the folks of Antiquiet, it appears as if Them Crooked Vultures will be calling their album Never Deserved the Future and are aiming for an October 23 release. And while that date is a Friday (in North America, Tuesday is the typically new release day), the poster looks pretty legit, and even comes bearing a vulture-sporting image that may serve as the album art. As previously reported, the supergroup have revealed that their debut live show will be at a Lollapalooza after-party at the Metro in Chicago this Sunday (August 9). Good luck squeezing your way into that one.
