Long known for their association with DFA labelmates LCD Soundsystem, New York electro crew Holy Ghost! released their self-titled debut album earlier this year. Now, they are getting ready to hit the road for their first-ever headlining tour of North America.
There are currently only eight shows confirmed, but three of them are in Canada. They will be playing Montreal on October 31, Toronto the next day and Vancouver on November 8. There are some lengthy breaks during the outing, and a press release says that more shows will be announced. See the current schedule below.
To promote the tour, Holy Ghost! just released their album track "Some Children" as a single. It features yacht rock king Michael McDonald, who you can see in animated form in the brief clip embedded at the bottom of this page. Download the song for free in exchange for an email address right here.
