Hollerado made their political stance blatantly clear on "Grief Money," but for the latest tune off their upcoming LP Born Yesterday, they're getting a bit more personal.
The track was written by the band's Nixon Boyd in the wake of a serious health scare.
"When we were writing this album, our guitar player Nixon was diagnosed with testicular cancer," the band explain in a statement. "He wrote this song as his way of asking the people in his life to help him believe everything would turn out all right, even if it meant pretending."
The whole band's fighting "fuck cancer" spirit can be heard on the song, an ode to the strength it takes to stay steady and offer support to loved ones in their times of need.
