The weekend has arrived and where will you be? In the theatre no doubt, so stop by our Exclaim! Recently Reviewed motion section before you head out to see the latest flicks on the big screen.

First off, Michael Patrick King brings back the ladies of Sex and the City in the sequel to the infamous 2008 flick. Carrie is seemingly not living the dream with Mr. Big, Charlotte worries about her braless nanny, Miranda's work problems grow, and Samatha's libido, well, does not. So this time around the quartet heads to Abu Dhabi, where they leave their marriage, work and sex problems back in New York and find themselves adrift in a world of culture clash within the Muslim society.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, directed by Mike Newell, is also out this weekend. Loosely based on the videogame of the same name, the fantasy film stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingsley.

Ajami, directed by Scandar Copti (an Arab Israeli) and Yaron Shani (a Jewish Israeli), explores the lives of four different men within an impoverished neighbourhood of Christians and Muslims.

French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet's latest film, Micmacs, trails along the story of a video shop employee who gets a bullet lodged in his head and surprisingly survives, leading him to a family who try to help obliterate the two weapon manufacturers that have been the origin his life's adversity. Our reviewer called it, "a film that plays around with classic film noir and screwball comedy staples with affable whimsy."
