We here at Exclaim! know it can be hard to find the perfect gift for your dad. So this Father's Day, instead of taking papa out for an afternoon of fishing or a visit to the local strip club, spend some quality time by heading to your nearest cinema. We've taken a look at some of the new films coming to theatres this week, but don't forget to head on over to our Recently Reviewed section to read reviews on more of this week's newest releases.

First up is Man of Steel (pictured), the newest comic book adaptation from acclaimed superhero director Zack Snyder. Taking its cue from previous box office trainwreck Superman Returns, Steel gives viewers even more fast-paced action sequences than they could have hoped for. But does the DC Universe reboot succeed in providing something new for longtime fans of the franchise? Read more to find out.

Next, political docu-drama Dirty Wars attempts to expose the questionable tactics used by the U.S. military leading up to the assassination of Osama Bin Laden, while criminal comedy The Great Chameleon receives a miserable one out of 10 from our reviewer for its jaw-dropping bad taste.

Finally, Joss Whedon does what any comic book-adapting director would do after making one of the biggest films of all time — recreating Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. But does the former The Avengers filmmaker manage to inject his trademark brand of humour into the classic literary work? You'll have to click through and see.

Of course, that's not all the movies in theatres this week. Check out our Recently Reviewed section for reviews on even more great films.
