If you're kicking off March break with some movies, let Exclaim! guide you through the best (and worst) new releases opening this weekend. Read full reviews of the following highlights and more at our Recently Reviewed section.

First up, Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) plays an American Civil War vet in Andrew Stanton's epic sci-fi blockbuster John Carter (pictured) -- and yes, Tim Riggins fans, Kitsch appears shirtless -- while Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt star in Lasse Hallström's (Chocolat) contrived rom-com, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.

Also out this week, Eddie Murphy adds another clanger to his resume with high concept "comedy" A Thousand Words, and Bridesmaids castmates Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd reunite in Jennifer Westfeldt's dysfunctional relationship jaunt, Friends with Kids.

Lastly, directors Laura Lau and Chris Kentis follow up 2003's Open Water with their similarly claustrophobic horror Silent House, while Canadian doc I Am Bruce Lee explores the life and influence of the legendary martial arts star.
