Hit-Boy Leaves G.O.O.D. Music
Could this be the end of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music crew as we know it? Earlier this year, Kid Cudi jumped ship from Yeezus' imprint, and now producer Hit-Boy has done the same.

Backstage at the BET Awards over the weekend, the producer and rapper born Chauncey Hollis said, "I've got nothing but respect for Kanye. I'm no longer a part of G.O.O.D. Music anymore."

He quickly added that he intends to focus all of his energy on his own Hits Since '87 imprint. "HS87 is where my heart is. That's what I'm repping."

As for why he chose to leave the fold, the producer explained that his contract simply ran out. "I committed my contract, I did what I was supposed to do. I came in and did six or seven singles for the label. I did what I was supposed to do." Check out BET's video interview with Hit-Boy below.
