Hieroglyphics, the Oakland-based hip-hop collective and record label, will now officially add clothing line to their impressive repertoire of projects, according to AllHipHop.com.

As well as music and T-shirts from the various artists running in the Hiero crew (Casual, Domino, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Souls of Mischief, Pep Love), the group have announced they will launch a new line of men's jeans in August. The introductory style will be indigo basic, while a second line, scheduled for later release, will include styles ranging from organic and resin-coated to a soft grey and an all-black formal phantom jean. Planned designs include silk-screened lyric quotes from the Hiero crew on the inside, as well as the popular Hiero logo. They will be sold exclusively through their the Hiero Jeans website.

Casual, the co-owner of Hieroglyphics and Conceptual Designer of Hiero Jeans, said, "We can't keep our t-shirts and other Hiero paraphernalia on the shelves. It's time to offer fans more with high end, top-of-the-line 'fits'."
