Hidden Pony Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Hamilton and Toronto Shows

Over the past five years, Hamilton, ON's Hidden Pony Records has released albums from notable Canadian acts like Said the Whale, Hannah Georgas, Jeremy Fisher, Rah Rah and Imaginary Cities. Next month, the label will be celebrating its fifth anniversary with parties in Toronto and Hamilton.

On June 20, the label will host a day party in Toronto for NXNE. The afternoon gig at the Horseshoe Tavern will feature sets from Rah Rah, new signing Royal Tusk, management clients Odds and Maritime pop-rockers the Danks. It's free for NXNE delegates and those with wristbands.

That same day, the same selection of performers — minus the Danks — will travel to Hamilton for an evening show at This Ain't Hollywood. This is also free for first arrivals.

Both of these so-called "HBHP" shows will feature prizes and what a press release calls "unique art pieces specially curated for the party and reflecting the album art and titles of some of Hidden Pony acts."
