Hidden Cameras Announce Canadian Tour Dates

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 12, 2012

It's been a while since we heard a peep out of Hidden Cameras, who haven't released an album since 2009's Origin:Orphan and haven't toured in Canada in a few years. Come June, however, the pop collective will be back on the road.

The relatively modest outing includes six dates, all in Canada's eastern half. The band will kick things off in Ottawa on June 8 before making their way west and eventually wrapping up in St. John's on June 23. All but one of the dates will be with Light Fires. See the schedule below.

A press release notes that these are Hidden Cameras' first dates in Atlantic Canada in five years. If you thought that this meant that a new album was imminent, however, we've got some bad news for you: these shows are in "continued support of their acclaimed 2009 full-length, Origin:Orphan."

Tour dates:

5/25 Neustrelitz, Germany - Immergut Festival
6/8 Ottawa, ON - WestFest

6/15 Montreal, PQ - Il Motore *

6/16 Quebec City, PQ - Le Cercle *

6/22 St. John's, NF - Rock House *
