Lo-fi Texan singer-songwriter Daniel Johnston is set to be the subject of another documentary. As previously reported, a new film called Hi, How Are You Daniel Johnston? received some high-profile pre-production pledges from the likes of Mac Miller and Lana Del Rey. Now, the trailer for the short film has arrived and it features a cover of Johnston's "Some Things Last a Long Time" courtesy of Del Rey herself.
The film was directed by Gabriel Sunday, who described the film, saying, "reality and fiction blend as Daniel reveals bitter-sweet truths, tales of unrequited love and advice for artists everywhere." The documentary premiered in Los Angeles over the weekend and will be made available online this Wednesday (November 11).
