The 18-year-old who plays invincible cheerleader Claire Bennett on the hit NBC series will release her debut single "Wake Up Call," as a digital download in August, and is planning an album for some time in early 2009. Described as a "reggae-flavoured pop song, the single was written by Andreas Rombhane, who has previously written songs for Geri Halliwell, Westlife and Diana Ross.
