Herman Dune

"Tell Me Something I Don't Know" (ft. <i>Mad Men</i>'s Jon Hamm) (video)

In our review of 2008's I Wish That I Could See You Soon, we said that French indie folk unit Herman Dune made "cuteness a high art form." The group are keeping the cuteness coming with this video for "Tell Me Something I Don't Know," which features Mad Men actor Jon Hamm stopping his car and picking up a small blue yeti.

It becomes a bit of a rock'n'roll road movie, though a totally adorable one, ending up at a Herman Dune concert, where the band are playing this poppy acoustic rocker.

Speaking to Interview Magazine about the video, Hamm said, "It's a little story about a lost yeti, a lost little snowman creature, abominable snowman, who is blue and sad because he is lost; and he gets picked up by me, and I decide to try to cheer him up by taking him to a rock'n'roll show in Austin, Texas, which I think works."

"Tell Me Something I Don't Know" appears on the album Strange Moosic, which is also the name of the group's newly launched label. No word on a North American release date just yet, but the record is due out June 6 via Fortuna POP! in the UK.
