Here's Your First Taste of Ron Howard's Beatles Documentary

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 20, 2016

Ron Howard may have played a late '50s teen on the hit sitcom Happy Days, but he's clearly not done with that era. Instead, the now-celebrated director will turn his lens to the Beatles in a new documentary. Today, we get our first taste with a new teaser trailer.

The film is called The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years, which is a rather self-explanatory title. In case you still don't get it, it follows the band as they embark on their early career-making tours.

Further, the film offers the tagline, "The band you know. The story you don't." It's unclear exactly what they mean by that, as the teaser trailer suggests this is more Beatles-mania on display, complete with shrieking fans.

Either way, fans will surely find plenty to love in this film. Watch the trailer below, and look for it in theatres this September.
