Here's What's Streaming on Netflix Canada in August

What do David Cross, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy have in common? They've all got new material set to arrive on Netflix in August! The streaming service has lined up its most diverse roster of original programming yet. 

David Cross will premiere his new comedy special Making America Great Again! on August 5. On the opposite end of the taste spectrum, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy will bring the yuks with a new special called We've Been Thinking... on August 26.

Of course, the main attraction on Netflix this month is the arrival of The Get Down (pictured above), a new hip-hop musical from renowned director Baz Luhrmann. That series is set to bow on August 12. 

Further, Netflix will continue to bring the fear with its weekly episodes of Scream while challenging fears with its new documentary Fearless (set for release on August 19).

If you're desperate for some EDM content, Netflix also has you covered on that front. They'll release a Steve Aoki tour doc called I'll Sleep When i'm Dead on August 19, as well as XOXO — an original EDM movie starring Modern Family's Sarah Hyland — on August 26.

Other highlights hitting Netflix include The Peanuts Movie (August 1), The Angriest Man in Brooklyn (August 1), This Is Where I Leave You (August 2), Son of Saul (August 10), Where to Invade Next (August 10), 45 Years (August 13), Snowpiercer (August 19), 22 Jump Street (August 20), American Hustle (August 23) and The Judge (August 30).

You're also running out of time to watch Dawn of the Planet of the ApesPaulThe Lego Movie and The Losers. They all leave the service on August 1. If you haven't seen Moneyball yet, make sure you watch it by August 25.
