Heb-Hex

"Bad Days" (video)

Daniel Blumberg quit Yuck earlier this year to focus on his new Hebronix project, but he's found a new collaborator in his Unreal producer, the Howling Hex's Neil Hagerty. Billed as Heb-Hex, the pair have a 7-inch due at the end of the month, though you can check out A-side "Bad Days" ahead of time in a new video.

A steady, if funky guitar strum handles the bulk of the tune, though presumably that's Hagerty's six-string slingin' rifling wildly in the background. Blumberg's lilting vocals, meanwhile, lay out plans to stay strong and hold on when the bad days come along.

Visually, we have a crew of poorly-painted action figures rocking out on oversized cardboard guitars. You can see them mime their way through the track down below.

Due November 25 through ATP Recordings, Heb-Hex's 7-inch also features a Hagerty-sung original called "Eve Child," which will also be covered on a forthcoming Black Bananas record.
