Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Jazz Cartier, Michie Mee, Andy Shauf

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Nov 20, 2020

Each Friday, The Eh! List brings together the best Canadian music of the past seven days, and this week's playlist has another dose of our favourite new homegrown tunes.

On the hip-hop side of things, Jazz Cartier has a new single, pioneering rapper Michie Mee is back with a new album, and genre-blender Hua Li 化力 just dropped an EP. For those with indie folk preferences, Hannah Georgas collaborated with Matt Berninger, Andy Shauf shared a non-LP single, the Weather Station dropped another track from her upcoming full-length, and Dan Mangan released a covers album.

Beyond that, keep an ear out for Christmas tunes from the Dears and Caveboy, an album cut from Partner, and tracks from Savannah Ré, Badge Époque Ensemble, Postdata and JJ Wilde.

Last but certainly not least, Canadian pop megastars Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber have a new collaborative song.

Hear The Eh! List below. The playlist is presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
