Hear Spencer Krug's Moonface EP Now; Get Set for a New Wolf Parade LP This Spring
As we reported last month, Sunset Rubdowner/Wolf Parader Spencer Krug has himself a new little project. It's called Moonface, and come January 26, Krug will be dropping the moniker's debut effort Dreamland EP: Marimba and Shit-Drums via Jagjaguwar. But since no one seems able to wait for new music anymore, Krug is giving fans the option of downloading the release right now.

Over on the Moonface website, you can currently do the whole "pay what you want" thing and scoop up a digital copy of the EP. Of course, this will be nowhere as sweet as the proper twelve-inch, which will come with a dream journal (though you can also peruse that on the website). Still, if you want to satisfy that curiosity ASAP, download away.

In some related news, it looks as if Wolf Parade are fast at work on a new album. In a recent interview on the band's fansite, drummer Arlen Thompson broke the news, saying, "The record is going well. We're just starting songwriting. We'll be in the studio tracking at Hotel2Tango [in Montreal] at the end of February and are trying to have the record finished by early spring."

So there you go: Moonface now, Wolf Parade later.
