Storied funk and soul label Daptone Records is set to release its 100th 45RPM single this month, and the label has shared the release's star-powered A-side featuring posthumous performances from Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley.

The pair join a lineup that also includes vocalists Saun & Starr, James Hunter, Naomi Shelton, Duke Amayo and Lee Fields in covering the Frightnrs' "Hey Brother (Do Unto Others)," with instrumental accompaniment coming from members of the Dap-Kings and Menahan Street Band.

The song initially appeared on the Frightnrs' 2016 LP Nothing More to Say. While the single gives posthumous honours to Jones and Bradley, the cover also honours late Frightnrs vocalist Dan Klein and organist/bandleader Cliff Driver.

The B-side of Daptone's 100th single will feature "Soul Fugue" by the 100 Knights Orchestra, a group made up of every horn player that has worked with the label.

The single is set for physical release on June 28 and will arrive as a standard black vinyl 45, and as a limited -dition die-cut picture disc exclusively through the label's web store
