Hear Ryan Adams Cover Radiohead's "Karma Police"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 30, 2017

Ryan Adams treated Taylor Swift's 1989 to a complete album cover back in 2015, and has since delivered some live renditions of Oasis classics, but his latest cover version hears him taking on a tune by none other than Radiohead.

The singer-songwriter appeared on BBC Radio 2 for an interview and performance. After doing his recent single "Doomsday," he also gave listeners a cover of OK Computer cut "Karma Police."

"There was basically a pretty awful person that just got elected in the United States, and I don't know why, but that song popped into my head this morning," he told host Jo Whiley.

You can hear him perform an acoustic cover of the tune over here around the 2:33:00 mark. Prior to that, you can also listen to his interview and "Doomsday" performance.

Adams's latest album Prisoner is due out on February 17 via Pax-Am/Blue Note/Capitol.
