Hear Ringo Starr's Son Team Up with Eddie Vedder for a Bob Marley Cover

The son of a Beatle, Zak Starkey may never fully step out of his father's shadow, but at least he inherited some of dear old dad Ringo Starr's drumming talent. An accomplished musician in his own right, having played for the Who, Oasis and Johnny Marr, Starkey's latest project finds him alongside Sshh Liguz in the electro-punk act SSHH.

The duo is set to drop a star-studded record featuring members of the Sex Pistols, Primal Scream, Mott the Hoople, Marilyn Manson, Amy Winehouse's band and more, but before ISSUES gets a proper release, the band have unveiled a new version of "Get Up Stand Up."

The Bob Marley classic has been reimagined with help from the Wailers' Santa Davis, bassist Fully Fullwood and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder joining Liguz on vocals.

Footage from the studio sessions has been turned into a music video, and you can check it out below.
