After hinting at the arrival of new material earlier in the day, Freddie Gibbs has delivered the new album Freddie, and you can hear the entire thing right now.
Arriving through ESGN/EMPIRE, Freddie runs 10 tracks in length and follows Gibbs' 2017 EP You Only Live 2wice. The effort features appearance from West Coast MC 03 Greedo and Cassie Jo Craig, in addition to a feature from Gibbs' daughter, Irie Jane Gibbs.
Earlier Thursday (June 21), Gibbs delivered news of the imminent release via a humorous teaser that had some listeners wondering if Freddie would lean more towards R&B. While it certainly doesn't sound like the aforementioned album trailer, it features plenty of Gibbs' technically sound, aggressive delivery.
