Drake Teams Up with Popcaan on "Controlla" and Covers Nico's "These Days"

Drake's highly anticipated next album Views from the 6 is slated to arrive in April, and while there is still little known for sure about the album's content or official release date, two new tracks from the 6 God himself have surfaced online.

The first is an upbeat, dancehall-infused jam titled "Controlla," which features Popcaan and a heavy dose of AutoTune.

The second track takes things in pretty much the opposite direction, sampling "These Days" to the point of basically being a cover. It hears a return to the downer Drizzy we know and love, with the rapper melancholically crooning his way through the track, subbing in lines like "I don't do too much scheming these days." The track was originally penned by Jackson Browne and first recorded by Nico, but now you can hear Drake's own interpretation.

Both tracks have yet to be officially released, but can be heard here, courtesy of The 6 Track, or in the players below.

UPDATE (3/29, 12:30 p.m.): "Controlla" has been pulled due to copyright violations, but a new version of "These Days" has surfaced. It comes courtesy of Babeo Baggins, who recorded the track (under the title "Things I Forgot to Do") for a covers EP and got Drake to guest on it. Listen to that in the player below.
