Today, Classified is revisiting some of his catalogue's best and brightest entries — unplugged — with new album Retrospected. Out today via the artist's own Halflife Records, you can hear the star-studded release in the players below.

The 15-track Retrospected finds Classified getting together with a host of fellow Canucks to reinterpret his songs. Special guests on the LP include Jann Arden, Dallas Smith, Haviah Mighty, Merkules, O'Sound, Jully Black, JRDN, Breagh Isabel, Brett Matthews, Matt Mays, David Myles and Joel Plaskett.

"I've always liked doing acoustic stripped-down versions of my songs. I like the way it puts more focus on the lyrics and highlights deeper elements of the song itself," Classified shared of the project in a statement. "It lets people experience the songs in a totally different way. I've been working on Retrospected for almost three years now, collaborating with some of the best artists in the country, in all different genres: hip-hop, rock, pop, R&B and country to reimagine songs from my catalogue in a whole different way. I hope the fans feel it as much as I do."

Alongside the album below, you'll also find a music video for the Retrospected version of "Good News" from director Andrew Rhodenizer.

Later this year, Classified will also take Retrospected on tour with support from Reeny Smith, kicking off a cross-country trek at Peterborough's Market Hall on October 14. You can find the complete itinerary below, and further ticketing information via Classified's official website.
