Hear Broadcast's Jim Cargill Pay Tribute to Trish Keenan on Children of Alice's Debut LP

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 23, 2017

Broadcast's James Cargill is ready to release the self-titled debut from his new project Children of Alice tomorrow (February 24), but you can listen to the LP in its entirety right now.

The album was initially intended as a tribute to Cargill's late partner and Broadcast bandmate Trish Keenan, so it seems only fitting that fellow member Roj Stevens appears on the new record too. They're also accompanied by Ghost Box founder and the Focus Group mastermind Julian House.

The four-track offering opens with a 22-minute eccentric epic dubbed "The Harbinger of Spring," then carries on through three other mesmerizing experimental pieces. See the full tracklist below, and head over to Bleep to stream it in its entirety.

Children of Alice is officially out February 24 via Warp.

Children of Alice:

1. The Harbinger of Spring
2. Rite of the Maypole - An Unruly Procession
3. Invocation of a Midsummer Reverie
4. The Liminal Space
