We already knew that the Beatles' iconic 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was getting treated to an elaborate 50th anniversary box set this spring, and now one of the previously unreleased cuts from the upcoming release has been unveiled.

A freshly unearthed version of the title track, accompanied with the tag "Take 9 and Speech," can be streamed right now via The Guardian. As the description insinuates, the well-known song also features some amusing in-studio chatter that hears the Fab Four exchanging notes after their performance.

As previously reported, the 50th anniversary edition of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band will arrive in a variety of formats on May 26 through Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe. Pre-order the collection through Umusic here.
