It's been six years since HEALTH released a new full-length, but that will finally change on August 7 with the arrival of Death Magic through Loma Vista. For those who are itching to hear what the Los Angeles experimental rock outfit have in store for us, they have shared the track "Stonefist."
The song charges hard out of the gate with brash, electro-blasted chords. The band display a slightly subtler touch once the vocals enter, as the arrangement downshifts for a melancholic refrain of "We both know love's not in our hearts." This is followed by threatening dance grooves and some more of those pummelling chords.
