Published Jul 14, 2015Before Thom Yorke was the frontman of Radiohead, he played in a group called Headless Chickens. Now, footage of that band playing an early live version of "High and Dry" has surfaced online.
The song would go on to appear on Radiohead's 1995 debut The Bends and become a staple in the group's catalogue, so it's pretty neat to get a glimpse of how the track has evolved since its early, speedier incarnation.
The recently uncovered footage was filmed in the late '80s at Exeter University's Lemon Grove. Watch in the player below.
