The Head Wound City reunion will gift us A New Wave of Violence in just over a month's time, but the band are spoiling fans right now with another single stream. This time, they're scorching speakers with the humanity-castigating "Born to Burn."
The song charts off into scrappier territory than the first reveal, "Scraper," with "Born to Burn" filled with Gabe Serbian's monstrously rumbled drum fills and fired-up guitar damage from Nick Zinner and Cody Votolato.
Jordan Blilie's vocals are doused in vitriol, with the singer having explained to Noisey that the tune details the "arrogance of mankind, and what we do to this planet, what we do to each other."
