If you missed out on catching Hayden during his Everything I Long For 20th anniversary tour earlier this year, things aren't as bad as they seem. The beloved Canadian indie folk songwriter has announced another round of tour dates behind the album and its fancy, deluxe vinyl reissue.

Hayden hits the road again in September. While his April round of dates concentrated on the Ontario tour circuit, the artist will be heading coast-to-coast this time around. The opening date takes place on September 21 at Halifax's St. Matthew's United Church, and he'll then head through the Prairies out towards Victoria.

The trek will be followed by his Dream Serenade even in Toronto on October 22. The concert at Massey Hall is curated and presented by Hayden and his wife Christie Greyerbiehl, in support of Toronto children with developmental disabilities and their families and caregivers. This year's lineup will be announced in the coming months but tickets can be purchased starting Friday (June 10).

Demand for a fuller Canadian tour was apparently quite high, and the first pressing of the deluxe vinyl edition of Everything I Long For 20 depleted quickly. For the upcoming trek, he's whipped up a second pressing that appears on teal-coloured wax. It arrives through his Hardwood Recordings imprint.

"Because making new music is always my priority, and I'm suspicious of nostalgia, looking back 20 years was a reluctant experiment," Hayden said in a statement. "However, after completing those first shows in April and putting the reissue together, I realized that not only did I really enjoy doing it, but that this era of my music has special significance to a certain group of people. This process has not only been my way of comprehending that impact but it's been a way for me to say thank you for supporting me for all these years."

You'll find the full tour route below, while you can revisit Exclaim!'s review of Hayden's recent EILF20 date in Toronto over here.

If you head here, you can also watch a newly shared and nostalgia-laced video for the track "Almost Everything."
