Hawksley Workman Sets Official Release Date for Milk
Back in January, Hawksley Workman released Meat, a stripped-down collection of lo-fi garage rock. Now that album's dance pop companion piece, Milk, will be officially released on August 10.

According to a press release, the album "wraps most of the seven deadly sins in synth-soaked dance pop packages." This includes collaborations with Shad (who contributes to the track "Some People"), Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest and Tosha Dash of Candy Coated Killahz.

The album was produced by Marten Tromm with help from Stew Crookes and Workman himself. It was recorded in at the Vanishing Point in Stockholm and the Stewdio in Toronto.

Individual tracks from Milk have previously come out digitally though iTunes and Six Shooter Records. The entire collection is available from the U.S. iTunes store.
